I like rockstar but look at them tryin to dump this on older ther all the same just different size chips, causing less heating, power consumption etc. They didn't wait 18 months to address the issue half-heartedly. The same can not be said for the company behind the system it runs on.

Maybe it was a time restraint or contractual deadline. Things like this, although scorned upon, are commonplace in the games industry so we should not be too shocked. Bugs happen. It is a nearly inevitable part of coding a complicated piece of software. There have been bugs in games since there were games period.

On the PC, this has never really been much of an issue since the internet has been around. A game has noticeable bugs? Release a patch, and they go away. For the consoles, for the most part, there has been little they could do. This generation, all the major consoles have internet connectivity, which gratefully has put them in the same category in this case as most PC games; they can be patched.

The reason I don't give MS the same credit is because they spent forever denying the problem before they reluctantly did something to attempt to correct it. Still, I dont want to ever hear any bots saying this multiplat game is better on Xbox. And you know, sometimes stuff just happens. Perhaps the RROD issue was more than just a processor overheating, and maybe Microsoft made some other tweaks to try to resolve the issue.

In the process, maybe the newer gen XBOX s have slightly better performance or a slightly different driver for a piece of hardware. Maybe the first gen chips run at a higher temperature and perhaps at a higher temperature the processor might have a tendency to buckle under an extremely heavy load. Anything is possible, and it is quite likely that what Rockstar says is true. Maybe they never saw any of these problems during testing and are truly "horrified" to find out that there are quality problems with their product.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, especially considering that they aren't just trying to sweep this under the rug and claim that the reports of performance issues are just false rumors. Rats in the Library OK, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! First, the freaking gym turns into the inferno from hell, and now Rat Man has released his minions into the library? The best way to do this is to whip stink bombs all over the place because they kill a larger number of rats with its wide distance.

Rats have low health so the die with whatever you throw at them. What is going on? Well, guess what? Johnny has been kidnapped and thrown into an insane asylum! In order to get him out, you need to access the control room. Dress up as an orderly, and get Johnny. You will come to a halt as gates block all of the exits. One gate in messed up at the bottom, go up to it and lift it up.

Then just escape with Johnny. The preppies now are angry. They suspect the Greasers have stolen their boxing trophies. Then, you go to the Storage warehouse in Blue Skies Press. Take some pictures of the townies loading rats in book boxes. You then follow them to the docks to take pictures of them burning the Preps trophies. Take the pictures back to the Preps and beat the mission.

Revenge on Mr. Burton Finally, I get a fun mission to write! He thought she was lying, and expelled her. There are two ways to make Mr. Burton not use the Port-O-Johns. You can either turn on sprinklers near them, or you can just hit them until they are destroyed. Either way works. There is only one Port-O-Potty that you can turn the sprinkler on. You have to go into the shed next to it, and press the button.

Then, ram a lawn mower into the Port-O-Potty Mr. Burton is taking his dump in, and watch the crap fly! Now, It is time for you to beat up the Townies.

Get Russell to ram into the Townie barricade. Meet Zoey and follow her. At one point, you need Zoey to create a distraction while you run up a spiral concrete road. As soon as you get at the top, STOP. If you look to you left, there should be a hole in the bottom of the wall. Crawl into it, and if you need extra weapons, there you go, climb back out and meet three Townies and beat them up.

Go through the door and fight Edgar, The Townie leader. You can fight back with a pipe from the wall, shield yourself with a hunk of metal from the wall, or just hit him with everything you got. Once you beat him, you got a much bigger problem to worry about!

You need to find Russell and bring him back to school. When your there, you have Russell and Edgar Who now wants to help you with you to stop the complete mayhem going on. All the faction leaders are marked on the map. Go find them, and beat them up. Probably the toughest is Derby, so if you want a tip, there is a Secret at the end of the guide. This Mission is really fun and you should have no problem with it.

Showdown with Gary Before you fight the kid, a prefect takes all of you weapons away, but Russell takes care of him, leaving you to Gary. When you get to Gary, you start fighting on a balcony, when once in a while the balcony breaks, making you, and Gary fall to a lower balcony. Then a scene comes, featuring you talking to Crabblesnitch Principal with him getting you back into school, and you making-out with Zoe. Just a fun game rewarding you with better make-outs. GYM Well, in Gym, you get to beat the crap out of a fat kid to earn new fighting moves, and you get to play dodge ball.
